SSAT Elementary Level — Verbal

3–4 年级

For students now in grades 3–4. Synonyms and analogies built on third- and fourth-grade words from science, technology and social studies: pick the word closest in meaning, and finish a word pair that works the same way. 30 questions in 20 minutes, five choices, no penalty for wrong answers.

The verbal section of the Middle Level SSAT: 30 synonyms — core words, words solved through their roots, and words used in a second meaning — and 30 analogies on opposites and degree, parts and kinds, tools and workers, places and causes. 60 questions in 30 minutes, five choices; a quarter point is taken off for each wrong answer.
